Application: For new installations and retrofits for small to medium installations of two to twenty doors, the Keri access control system interfaces with the Caddx NX-8E panel to offer an integrated intrusion and access control system. Programmed access authority parameters are carried from the intrusion panel to the access control system. This eliminates the need to use two separate systems, which means less programming and less hardware. Because each user has a unique ID, the system knows who has armed or disarmed the alarm and it stores this information along with any alarm information for administrators to review.

NEW YORK - As the Mustang coupe turns 40 this year, manufacturer Ford Motor has released an overhauled 2005 version of its iconic sports car. The new model is one of the most dramatic redesigns in the Mustang's history, and its recent release is central to Ford's plan to get itself back on track.

At the end of November, Ford dealers were carrying about 845,000 vehicles in inventory, or an 87-day supply--17% more than the company's end-of-November average of a 75-day supply. However, according to a Merrill Lynch (nyse: ML - news - people ) report published yesterday, Ford should achieve its year-end inventory target of 775,000 to 800,000 vehicles, due to lower production and what Merrill calls "successful new releases"--including the Mustang.

When it was released in the fall of 2003, the Handspring Treo 600 was arguably the best phone/PDA combo any company had produced to date. Now owned by palmOne, the Treo line has upped the ante with the Treo 650. The new model delivers improvements that will enhance the experience for most users, though a couple of omissions—namely more internal memory and Wi-Fi—keep it from perfection. That said, most people using a midrange Palm device, a mobile phone, and/or a Blackberry-type device, should give the Treo 650 a serious look; it can replace all three of these devices.
