Link: 2005 Crime Prevention Kit
The National Crime Prevention Council; members of the Crime Prevention Coalition of America; the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice; and ADT Security, Inc., distributed copies of last year's kit to law enforcement officers, educators, youth workers, Neighborhood Watch and other civic groups, businesses, hospitals, libraries, and the news media. According to users, approximately 500 million copies of the kit's camera-ready, educational materials are being reproduced and distributed to the nation's communities.
The 2004-2005 Crime Prevention Month: Celebrating 25 Years of Crime Prevention With McGruff the Crime Dog®, available now, continues the exciting format of a 12-month calendar that focuses on the eleven principles of crime prevention.
The kit includes reproducible brochures in English and Spanish that correspond to crime prevention strategies highlighted in each month of the calendar. Also available in the kit is information on McGruff/Scruff licensed products.
Each Catalyst subscriber will automatically receive a copy of the 2004-2005 Crime Prevention Month Calendar. Crime Prevention Coalition of America member organizations will receive their customary allotments free for distribution to state and local affiliates. Requests to NCPC for single copies will be honored as long as supplies last; call 800-NCPC-911 to request a copy.
